Role Title: AC & DC Motor Engineer
BRISTOL
DAYS 07.30-16.00 Mon to Fri
Salary 35-40k Dependent on experience
Main Duties:
* Time served or demonstrably experienced in assembling and repairing AC & DC motors
* Experience in reading technical drawings and engineering specs
* Balance rotors to ensure optimal performance and reliability
* Conduct testing and quality checks on completed units
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on a range of motors
* Work on equipment used in both commercial and defence applications

You’ll also:
* Be a paragon of health and safety and responsible for following processes to deliver a quality product
* Be a creative team player, able to work autonomously on your own as well as with a multidisciplinary team of electrical, mechanical and project professionals
* Exemplify problem solving and time management
* BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering would be desirable but not essential
