Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform regular inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of electrical systems and machinery.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, failures, and issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Carry out repairs and replacements of electrical components and systems.
Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare technical reports.
Recommend and implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Support installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and control panels.
Familiarity with PLCs, motors, transformers, switchgear, and power distribution.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Proficient in using diagnostic and testing equipment.
Good understanding of electrical safety standards and practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in electrical maintenance or relevant training.
Experience with predictive maintenance technologies.
Knowledge of automation and control systems.
