Electrical Installations Trainer / Assessor (Full Training Provided)
St Ives, Cambridgeshire
£38,000 - £41,500 + Full Training on Renewables + Teaching Qualifications + Assessor Qualifications + Pension + 36 Days Holiday + Monday to Friday (8:30am - 5:00pm)

As electrical technologies continue to evolve, the organisation is investing heavily in renewable and emerging technologies including Solar PV, EV Charging, Battery Storage and Inspection & Testing. This creates an excellent opportunity for experienced electricians to broaden their own knowledge while helping others develop theirs.
In this role, you will deliver Electrical Installation training to apprentices and industry learners, supporting both practical and theoretical development. You will guide learners through their qualifications, assess their progress, and help prepare them for successful careers within the electrical industry.
This role would suit an experienced Electrician who enjoys mentoring others and wants to build a long-term career in education. Teaching experience is not required, as full teacher training, assessor qualifications and renewable technology training will be provided.

The Role
*Deliver Electrical Installation training to apprentices and learners
*Support both practical and classroom-based learning
*Assess learner progress and provide guidance and support
*Deliver training across Electrical Installation and specialist short courses
*Gain training in Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging and Inspection & Testing
*Full teaching and assessor training provided
*Monday to Friday position based in St Ives
The Person
*NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
*Strong Electrical Installation industry experience
*Experience as an Electrician, Approved Electrician or Electrical Supervisor
*Interest in renewable technologies
*Strong communication and mentoring skills
*Looking to move into training and education
*No previous teaching experience required
