Electrical Project Manager Opportunity - Life Sciences Project - Kings Cross
MK Search are working closely with a well respected M&E contractor with a big presence in the life sciences and commercial spaces who are looking to engage with an experienced Electrical Project Manager for a flagship life sciences project in Kings Cross.
You will be tasked with leading and delivering a complex electrical package throughout the delivery stages of the project while reporting into the Project Director. You will be managing electrical subcontractors, along with site managers and project engineers.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure all works are managed in accordance with standard operating procedures and Health and Safety regulations.
* Prepare labour plans and update labour trackers with correct information
* Review, appoint, and manage specialist contractors in line with the contract documentation.
* Attend regular approval meetings with the clients and main contractors.
* Work with wider MEP team and site supervisors to ensure the works are on target, and update programs and weekly project reports for the client & sub-contractors.
* Ensure all RAMS are suitable and sufficient for all work scopes.
* Ensure technical and quality compliance throughout the project.
* Work closely with the commercial team to keep track of all budgets and feed into the month end reports.
* Co-ordinate the procurement and resource planning within the requirements of the contract needs
* Ensure appropriate record keeping in maintained and available for review by all.
* Take responsibility for the successful project completion and formal handover in accordance with defined requirements outlined by the client or nominated client representatives.
