Electrical Tester

£20.00 per Hour + Overtime + Company Van
Permanent Position
Cannock Based | Nationwide Travel Required

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Electrical Tester to join a growing electrical contractor based in Cannock.

The company delivers projects for major retail and distribution centre clients across the UK and is looking for a motivated individual who is happy to travel nationwide as projects require.

This is a permanent position offering long-term stability, plenty of overtime and excellent earning potential.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations on a range of commercial projects, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with current regulations.

Typical projects include:

  * Distribution Centres

  * Retail Units

  * Warehouses

  * Commercial Facilities

The role will involve working away from home when required, with all expenses covered.

Requirements

  * City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (Essential)

  * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

  * NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent

  * Previous experience carrying out electrical testing within commercial environments

  * Full UK Driving Licence

  * NICEIC experience or accreditation would be advantageous

Package

  * £20.00 per hour

  * Permanent employment

  * Company van provided

  * Fuel card and expenses paid

  * £15 daily food allowance when staying away overnight

  * Regular overtime available

  * Pension scheme

  * Holiday entitlement

  * Ongoing work with a strong pipeline of projects
