Job Description

Enjoy a subcontract Electrician role that comes with a van and fuel card all provided from the first day. This position focuses on rewires, installations, occasional void rewires, and general maintenance work across domestic social housing properties, ensuring electrical systems are safe, compliant, and operating efficiently.

Role Overview:
As the Electrician, your primary responsibility will be to carry out rewires, installations and maintenance work in domestic social housing properties. You will also be required to conduct occasional void rewires, ensuring all work meets the highest safety and quality standards. You'll work across various domestic systems, including carrying out first and second fix installations, as well as fault finding and repairs where necessary.

You will ensure all systems are compliant with the latest regulations and safely operational, providing a vital service to the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out rewires and electrical installations in domestic properties
Performing occasional void rewires on vacant properties
Conducting general maintenance work, including fault finding, repairs, and testing
Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and the latest electrical regulations
Keeping accurate records of work completed, including electrical certificates and installation reports
Communicating with clients to ensure they understand the work completed and any necessary future actions
We are looking for an Electrician who has:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
Previous experience in rewires, electrical installations, and general maintenance work.
A valid full UK driving licence

£24 - £25 per hour via Umbrella
Van and fuel card provided

Location & Travel:
This role is based in Chesterfield, offering steady local work. The location provides easy access to key roads, ensuring a smooth commute.
