Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00
Pay Rate: £22.00 - £23.00 per hour
We're looking for a Electrician to support maintenance works across a single housing estate in North Kensington. This is a static role based within a well-established neighbourhood, with all properties located within walking distance.
A secure on-site lock-up is provided for tool storage, eliminating the need to carry equipment to and from the estate each day. While a van and fuel card are not issued for this role, a pool van is available on the estate for use during work hours if needed.
Responsibilities:
Performing a comprehensive range of responsive repairs, maintenance tasks, and planned works.
Identifying and resolving electrical faults reported by tenants.
Addressing urgent electrical issues, including power outages, faulty wiring, and safety hazards.
Installing new electrical systems, such as lighting, sockets, consumer units, and complete rewiring in both occupied and vacant properties.
Conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and necessary remedial work to ensure regulatory compliance.
Upholding a professional and respectful demeanour when engaging with residents and housing staff.
Using a handheld electronic device to receive job instructions, update progress, and log completed works.Requirements:
Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2018
Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (2365)
