Polytec are looking for an experienced Electronic Assembler to assemble, solder and wire PCB assemblies and units for our St Neots based client.
Responsibilities:
* Assemble, solder and wire PCB assemblies and units to IPC-JSTD-001
* Ensure inbuilt quality by following routers and inspecting own workmanship
* Interpret and apply all drawings, instructions and documentation
* Conformal coat and apply adhesives to products as per manufacturing drawings
* Ensure Health and Safety Policies are adhered to
Requirements:
* Ideally experience of working to class 3 on Power boards or aerospace product
* At least 2 years' PTH soldering experience
* Ability to interpret complex technical drawings
* Ideally able to surface mount solder down to 0405 component level
* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
