English Teacher Required – SEN School, Wiltshire – Immediate Start
We are seeking a dedicated and resilient English Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Wiltshire on a full-time basis, with an immediate start available.
The school caters for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, challenging behaviour, and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people and supporting them to achieve their full potential.
The Role
Full-time English Teacher position
Immediate start available
Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (experience with KS5 desirable but not essential)
Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Supporting pupils with behavioural challenges and ASC
Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to promote positive outcomes for students
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
Experience teaching English within a secondary setting
Previous experience working within SEN, SEMH, alternative provision, or specialist settings is highly desirable
Strong behaviour management skills
Patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting vulnerable learners
Able to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
