Job Title: Environmental Manager
Location: Leeds (with travel to Selby, Yorkshire and Peterhead, Scotland)
Rate: £600/day
Duration: Initial 6 months, ASAP start

As an Environmental Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving environmental initiatives across the EGL2 Integrated Joint Venture (IJV). Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of environmental processes and systems within the EGL2 IJV.
Support legislative compliance and promote continuous improvement in environmental and sustainable construction management.
Be a trusted advocate for environmental management across the IJV.
Collaborate with a team of environmental professionals to ensure effective coordination and support.
Engage stakeholders at all levels, providing visible support across EGL2 and its supply chain.
Deliver the Offshore Environment & Sustainability portfolio strategy, showcasing positive environmental behaviours.
Provide expert advice on environmental and sustainability responsibilities to the project team.
Implement management plans and systems to ensure compliance with business, contractual, and legislative requirements.
Prepare monthly performance reports for environmental incidents and inspections, highlighting areas for improvement.
Foster a positive Safety, Health, Environment, and Sustainability (SHES) culture.What You Bring:
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and inform both internal and external stakeholders.
A passion for continuous improvement and experience in change management.
Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills.
Experience working with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders.
A current driving license, as travel within England and Scotland is required.
Familiarity with town and country planning frameworks is a plus.
Background in the construction sector is preferred; experience from HS2 would be beneficial.Join Our Team!
