Our client, based in Lancing, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic company within the engineering and sheet metal industry
Estimator Roles and Responsibilities:
* Meet client expectations by ensuring prompt replies to queries
* Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for engineering projects
* Work closely with engineers
* Understand the different types of sheet metal
* Use of CAD/ CAM software
* Maintain a database of cost histories and estimate breakdowns
* Build relationships with key contacts via phone calls and emails
* Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to ensure accurate pricing
Estimator Ideal Candidate:
* Have experience within sheet metal
* Will have a background in engineering
* Previous experience within estimating
* Be able to understand and use CAD / CAM software
