We are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teacher to join our friendly and thriving school in Hillingdon for a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2025. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we welcome you to join our supportive team and contribute to the development of our youngest learners. About Us: Our school is a welcoming, vibrant, and inclusive community located in the heart of Hillingdon, where students and staff alike are encouraged to thrive. With a focus on academic excellence, well-being, and personal development, we are committed to ensuring each child’s individual potential is nurtured. The school has a warm, caring atmosphere that provides a rich and diverse environment for both teaching and learning. Rated Good by Ofsted, our school prioritizes high standards of education and development for children of all abilities, particularly within the Early Years Foundation Stage, where we lay the foundations for lifelong learning. The Role: As an EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a creative, engaging, and developmentally appropriate curriculum that sparks curiosity and encourages independence. You will create a safe and supportive learning environment, fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. You’ll work closely with the Early Years team to ensure that children receive the best start to their education and are well-supported in their academic, social, and emotional growth. This is an exciting opportunity for you to make a significant impact in the early stages of a child’s learning journey. Key Responsibilities: * Plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating and effective lessons following the EYFS framework. * Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and confident to explore. * Assess, monitor, and track children’s progress, adapting teaching to meet their individual learning needs. * Work closely with parents to support children's development, maintaining regular communication on progress. * Support the personal and social development of children, fostering a love of learning and helping them develop crucial life skills. * Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality learning experience across the EYFS department. What We Offer: * A permanent, full-time position starting September 2025. * A supportive and welcoming school environment, with opportunities to collaborate with a dedicated team of staff. * Access to excellent professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice. * A strong commitment to supporting Early Career Teachers (ECTs), offering guidance and mentoring. * A well-resourced classroom and access to innovative teaching tools to support your practice. * A focus on staff well-being, with a positive and inclusive school culture. * Good transport links and a pleasant, family-friendly environment in Hillingdon. What We’re Looking For: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. * Experience teaching EYFS, or a strong interest in early childhood education. * A passion for working with young children, with the ability to create an exciting and nurturing learning environment. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents. * Creative and enthusiastic, with a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children. * An open, adaptable approach, with the ability to meet the needs of all learners in your class. * ECTs are welcome and encouraged to apply, with full support provided. Location: Our school is located in Hillingdon, offering great local amenities, green spaces, and a thriving community. The area offers excellent transport links to central London and the surrounding areas, making it an ideal location for commuting. Hillingdon is known for its family-friendly atmosphere, making it an ideal place to live and work.
