Job Description
Fabrication & Welding Contractors Needed – Walsall (Approx. 6-Month Contract)
Contract Type: Contract for Services
Project: Structural Steel – Heavy Gauge Welding & Fabrication
We are seeking experienced Fabrication and Welding Contractors to support a major structural steel project in Walsall. This contract will run for approximately 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
* Heavy-gauge welding and fabrication
* Working from detailed engineering drawings
* Producing high-quality welds to industry standards
* Fabrication of structural steel components, including:
* Beams
* Portal frame buildings
* Large staircases and associated steelwork
Requirements:
* Proven experience in heavy-gauge structural steel fabrication
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* High standards of welding quality (MIG)
* CSCS or equivalent certification is advantageous but not needed
