Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer, Plant Fitter, or Heavy Equipment Technician looking for your next career move?
We're recruiting on behalf of a major UK construction machinery dealership known for its world-class service, technical excellence, and industry-leading equipment range.
If you're skilled in plant diagnostics, servicing, and repairs and want to work with premium machinery this is the role for you.
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll carry out:
Diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on heavy plant, construction, and agricultural machinery
Hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical fault-finding using laptop diagnostics
Breakdown and planned servicing at customer sites
Professional communication and support with customers to deliver first-time fixes
Promotion of parts and service solutions to strengthen customer relationships
You'll work independently within your region, supported by a professional service team and manufacturer training.
What You'll Need
NVQ Level 2 or higher in Plant / Construction / Agricultural Engineering (or equivalent)
Proven experience on construction plant, heavy line, or material handling equipment
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, axles, and CAN-bus electrical systems
Confident working with excavators, telehandlers, dumpers, loading shovels, or diggers
Full UK driving licence & right to work in the UK
Customer-focused attitude with strong self-motivation

About You
You might currently be working as a:
Plant Fitter / Mobile Plant Engineer / Heavy Plant Technician / Agricultural Engineer / Construction Equipment Mechanic / Mobile Service Technician / HGV Fitter (Plant experience preferred)
You're hands-on, reliable, and take pride in delivering a world-class service to every customer.
