Job Description
We are seeking a confident and experienced Finance Assistant to join this small team for this prestigious school in the centre of Canterbury.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:
* Process and record financial transactions, including invoices, purchase orders, petty cash, and staff expense claims.
* Liaise with suppliers, resolve invoice and payment queries, and ensure timely processing of payments.
* Maintain accurate records using the school’s finance system using Sage Intaact.
* Provide administrative support to the Finance Manager and contribute to general office duties as required.
* Excellent Excel ability
The successful Finance Assistant will have a minimum of two years accounting experience, strong numerical skills and good attention to detail.
You will be a flexible team player with a positive attitude and a good sense of humour!
This is a full time, on site role. Hours are 9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday - Friday.
