Job Title: Firestopping Installer (Quelfire Batt & Mastic)

Hours of Work: 8:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour unpaid break)

We are hiring for a Firestopping Installer who has experience with Quelfire batt and mastic installations and can competently operate the Bolster Systems app for logging completed works. This opportunity is based on a school site with free parking and requires a professional, punctual individual with an Enhanced DBS.
This is a day-shift-based role, and all materials and access equipment will be provided on-site by the Project Supervisor, who will also act as your point of contact.
Duties of a Firestopping Installer
In this role you will be working in the fire protection team to deliver high-standard Quelfire installations. Reporting to the Project Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
• Installing Quelfire batt and mastic systems to specified standards
• Using Bolster Systems to clock in/out and log all work progress and completion photos
• Editing pins and uploading real-time updates
• Liaising with the site supervisor and following site protocols
• Maintaining safety and quality throughout the workday
Skills and experience of a Firestopping Installer
As a Firestopping Installer, you must have:
• Enhanced DBS certificate
• Proven experience with Quelfire standard detail installations
• Full competence using Bolster Systems (clocking, logging, and photo uploads)
It would be beneficial to the Firestopping Installer role if you also had:
• Fluent English communication skills
• Strong punctuality and timekeeping
• A smartphone with location services enabled
