Job Description
Introduction:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flexographic Printer to join our team in the corrugated packaging sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality corrugated cartons, ensuring print consistency, color accuracy, and adherence to production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up, operate, and maintain flexographic printing presses for corrugated production.
* Prepare printing cylinders and inks, ensuring proper color matching and registration.
* Monitor print quality throughout the production run, making adjustments as necessary.
* Follow standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
* Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment.
* Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications.
* Maintain accurate production records and logs.
* Collaborate with design, prepress, and production teams to ensure seamless workflow.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations in the workplace.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience in flexographic printing, preferably in the corrugated packaging industry.
Knowledge of printing inks, substrates, and color management.
Familiarity with flexographic press operation, setup, and troubleshooting.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, job tickets, and specifications.
Good manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience with corrugated printing presses.
* Knowledge of prepress processes and color calibration.
