Job Description
FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative
Location: Skelmersdale, WN8 8DY
Rate: 13.21 p/h, 37.5 hrs paid weekly
Hours of work: Mon-Fri 06.00-14.00/14.00-22.00
All candidates must pass drug and alcohol tests before induction.
Applicants must hold at least one valid licence: Reach, VNA, or PPT. At this stage we cannot accept any in-house licences.
Subsidised canteen available on-site.
Overview
We are recruiting experienced FLT Drivers for our national distribution client in Skelmersdale. The role involves operating forklifts safely and supporting daily warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate any of the following trucks depending on your licence: Reach, VNA, PPT.
Load, unload, check and move stock.
Carry out daily safety checks.
Assist with general warehouse tasks.
Follow all health & safety procedures.
Requirements
Valid certification in either Reach, VNA, or PPT truck operation is essential.
Previous FLT/warehouse experience is essential.
Good communication and attention to detail.
Physically fit for manual handling duties.
