Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified French & German Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team for a school in the Aston, Birmingham Area. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of both the French and German language and culture, a passion for teaching, and the ability to engage students in immersive language experiences. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality French language instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French and German language lessons to students studying at Key stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Develop and implement a curriculum that covers listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
Assess and evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback and support to ensure academic growth.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and language practice.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in language education and integrate them into your teaching.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in MFL, Education
Teaching certification/license in French, German, or a relevant subject area.
Proven experience teaching French and German at secondary level.
Native or near-native proficiency in French and German.
Strong knowledge of French and German language pedagogy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential in language learning.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current in the field of language education.
