Salary: £100 - £115 per day

Do you have the flexibility to support pupils both as a Teaching Assistant and Higher Level Teaching Assistant?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a fantastic Primary School based in Pontypool. The school is known for its welcoming atmosphere, strong sense of togetherness and supportive staff team, creating a positive environment for both pupils and staff to succeed and grow.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated HLTA on a full time basis, with the successful HLTA supporting across both Teaching Assistant and Higher Level Teaching Assistant duties. This is a long term opportunity with the successful HLTA continuing within the school into September. The role will involve supporting pupils across the classroom, delivering interventions and covering lessons where required.

The successful HLTA will have:

HLTA qualification or relevant classroom experience

Experience working within a Primary School setting

The ability to support learning across different year groups

Strong classroom management skills

A flexible and adaptable approach

A hardworking and positive attitude
