Job Description
Pinnacle Recruitment are currently looking for a General Foreman to work for one of the largest construction firms in the UK. This role will be based in Aylesbury.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading teams to deliver safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Salary - £60,000 - £65,000 + pkg
Duties
* Managing daily site operations, labour, plant, and materials to meet programme and quality standards.
* Acting as Principal Designer on-site, ensuring CDM compliance and overseeing design and RAMS approvals.
* Promoting a proactive health and safety culture, demonstrating visible leadership and compliance with company policies.
* Ensuring lifting activities and Temporary Works are properly controlled and meet all legislative requirements.
* Coaching teams in health, safety, quality, and best practice to continually improve performance.
* Managing and mentoring operatives and subcontractors, ensuring competence and compliance at all times.
* Leading by example — encouraging hazard reporting and embedding a zero-harm culture.
* Overseeing site documentation, including H&S plans, environmental plans, and quality records.
* Managing plant, materials, and resources efficiently to support delivery against programme.
* Maintaining accurate daily records, reports, and KPIs, contributing to weekly site reporting.
Requirements
* An experienced leader with a strong background in civil engineering or utilities, ideally gained on major infrastructure projects
* Solid technical knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations
* Deep excavation and temporary works experience
* NRSWA
* SSSTS
* CSCS
* Temporary Works Supervisor
* Confined Spaces
