Groundworks Foreman – New Build Housing
Location: West Cornwall
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 + Benefits
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
About the Role
We are working with a privately owned new build housing developer based in West Cornwall to recruit an experienced Groundworks Foreman.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable house builder on a permanent basis, overseeing a wide range of groundworks activities including roads, sewers, foundations and more.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and supporting a small team while remaining hands-on to ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and lead a small groundworks team on new build housing developments.
* Carry out hands-on groundworks tasks where required.
* Oversee the construction of roads, sewers, drainage, and site infrastructure.
* Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
* Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Maintain compliance with health & safety standards and regulations.
About You
* Proven experience in groundworks within the residential sector.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Based in or willing to commute to West Cornwall.
Salary & Benefits
* £55,000 – £60,000 per annum
