Group Reporting Manager – Plymouth – Permanent
💰 Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience
📍 Location: Plymouth – Office-based
🕒 Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday

Carrington Wood has been asked to support with the appointment of a Group Reporting Manager for a dynamic, expanding business based in Plymouth. Growing rapidly through both organic expansion and acquisition, this is a pivotal role within a forward-thinking finance team.
The successful candidate will work closely with the CFO and Financial Controller to deliver high-quality financial reporting, develop budgeting and forecasting processes, and support wider corporate finance activity.
What You’ll Be Doing:
✔ Producing accurate and insightful financial board reports and presentations
✔ Enhancing group reporting for overhead cost centres and providing monthly variance analysis
✔ Supporting the CFO with long-term financial modelling, cash flow forecasting, and treasury management
✔ Monitoring net debt and banking covenants, and liaising with finance providers
✔ Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and strategic plans
✔ Supporting potential refinancing and acquisition activities
✔ Partnering with the wider finance team to ensure robust management accounts and reconciliations
✔ Liaising with auditors and external advisors during the year-end process
✔ Contributing to process improvements and ad hoc financial projects
What We’re Looking For:
💡 CCAB qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
💡 Strong technical reporting and analytical skills
💡 Excellent Excel and financial modelling experience
💡 Confident communicator who can present to senior stakeholders
💡 Proactive, detail-focused, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
💡 Experience using ERP/accounting systems
