Head of Nursery 

Are you a passionate and experienced Early Years leader ready to make a real impact?

An ambitious and forward-thinking local authority in London is seeking a dynamic Head of Nursery to lead one of its flagship settings (children 0-5 years). This is a fantastic opportunity to shape high-quality early years provision and drive excellence in a thriving community.

Location: Onsite in North London 
Duration: Initial 3-month contract 
Rate: Up to £400 per day (Inside IR35) 
Hours: Full-time, 5 days/week (8am–4pm or 10am–6pm)

What they’re looking for:

A recognised qualification in Early Years or Education
Strong management experience in childcare or early years services
Deep knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted frameworks, and safeguarding
Confidence in leading teams and managing budgets
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Full onsite availability, with flexibility on working hoursThis is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be at the heart of service delivery, supporting staff, children, and families while ensuring the nursery meets the highest standards.
