Job Role: Health & Safety Coordinator
Location: Mallusk
Pay Rate: £32000 per year
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-430pm
We are currently looking for a Health & Safety coordinator to join a trusted logistics team. With this client you will know your skills are appreciated and your time is respected; this client offers a stable, supportive environment. Boosting Monday- Friday working hours with no weekend hours and a starting salary of £32000.
As a H&S coordinator you will:
- support objectives on the site that relate to Health and Safety, facilities, and Environment
- support management in remaining fully compliant with legal and statutory obligations, along with internal HSMS
- drive forward the site's safety management and environmental plan and support department`s corrective action plans
- support with the monitoring and evaluation of health and safety performance against KPI's and management reporting
- ensure all incidents, accidents and near misses are investigated, paperwork completed and follow ups conducted with action taken where necessary
- ensure that all work instructions are aligned with risk assessments, SOP's and safe systems of work requirements are met through the monitoring of HSMS and matrix systems
- facilitate and support H&S meetings and Site Improvement meetings
- support Facility Projects and site Improvement plan
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in the Health & Safety sector
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills- both written and verbal
