HGV Class 2 Driver – Full Time

We are seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client’s team in the Hatfield area. This full-time role involves day shifts delivers. It is an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV Class 2 drivers looking for steady employment with a respected company that offers excellent benefits to its full-time drivers.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct safe and timely deliveries to various locations, including stores, homes, and sites.
Assist with loading and unloading the vehicle as required.
Complete routine vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
Maintain excellent customer service as this role involves direct interaction with clients.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Demonstrate flexibility and commitment to completing assigned routes safely and efficiently.
Candidate Requirements

Minimum of 12 months recent experience driving an HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
Valid UK Driving Licence, Full CPC qualification, and DIGI tachograph card.
Ability to perform manual handling tasks.
Strong customer service skills with a professional and approachable manner.
No more than six penalty points on licence; endorsements such as DR, DD, or IN are not accepted.
Possession of the correct PPE, including high-visibility clothing and safety boots.
Employment Details & Remuneration

Working hours: 07.30 start Monday to 50 hours per week, no weekend work).
Holiday entitlement: 28 days per year including  bank holidays
Free on-site parking available.
Location: Hatfield.
Contract type: Permanent, full-time.
