HGV Class 1 Driver
East Sussex BN8 6PM
£23.00 to £26.00 per hour including holiday pay
8 to 12 hours per shift
Day, night and weekend shifts available
Temp to Perm Opportunity Available
Immediate StartA leading Traffic Management and Civil Engineering company is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to operate from its depot in Ringmer, East Sussex. The role offers consistent work and the opportunity to transition into a permanent role with the company.

The Role

Accompanied by a team of road maintenance engineers, you will be undertaking "Wag and Drag" work loading and unloading gas boilers for road Tarmac/Bitumen work.

Responsibilities

Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles across multiple sites
Assisting with traffic management or civil engineering projects
Liaising with planners to complete scheduled jobs
Adhering to all safety and compliance standardsRequirements

"Wag and drag" experience will beneficial
Valid HGV Class 1 licence
Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
CSCS Labour certificate
