Job Description

Consult2Recruit are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join a well-established waste and recycling business based in Bedminster. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking long-term employment, with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

Location: Bedminster
Pay Rate: £16.25 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 16:30
Job Type: Ongoing Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

The Role

  * 

    Operating a Class 2 skip vehicle across the local area.

  * 

    Delivering, exchanging, and collecting skips from commercial and residential customers.

  * 

    Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.

  * 

    Providing a professional and friendly service to customers.

  * 

    Working safely and in accordance with company procedures and road transport regulations.

Requirements

  * 

    Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.

  * 

    Valid CPC Qualification Card.

  * 

    Digital Tachograph Card.

  * 

    Good communication and customer service skills.

  * 

    A reliable and professional approach to work.

  * 

    Previous skip driving experience is beneficial but not essential.

Full Training Provided

Our client is happy to provide full training for the right candidate, making this an ideal opportunity for Class 2 drivers looking to gain experience in the waste and recycling sector.
