Job Description

We are currently seeking a HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Commercial Vehicle Dealership, based in the Eardisley, Herefordshire area.

The successful HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £42,120 with OTE of circa £46,494 with working hours of Monday to Friday (7:30am-5:00pm), with 1-in-2 Saturdays 8:00am-2:00pm paid as overtime.

Our Client is looking for a HGV Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

Starting salary up to £18 per hour (negotiable pending experience and current earnings). 
Overtime, subject to availability, paid at an enhanced rate of time and a half.

7:30am-5:00pm Monday to Friday, with 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:00am-2:00pm paid as overtime.Typical Duties for our client include, but are not limited to:

Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
Supporting colleagues in the Workshop with any technical issues.
Completion of MOT preparationRequirements:

Previous working experience within the role
Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Excellent mechanical knowledge
