HGV Technician – Exeter (4-Day Week, No Weekends) Salary: £50,500 per year
Location: Exeter
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 4-day week (No weekends!)
Type: Full-time, permanent
 
About the Role: We’re looking for a skilled and motivated HGV Technician to join our Exeter workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn £50,500 while enjoying a genuine work-life balance — working Monday to Thursday only, with no weekend shifts.
 You’ll be carrying out maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a variety of HGVs, ensuring vehicles remain safe, roadworthy, and compliant.
 Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs to DVSA standards.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
Conduct safety inspections and complete service documentation accurately.
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality.
Maintain a clean and organised working environment.Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
Class 1 (Category C+E) licence – essential.
Proven experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
A positive attitude and ability to work independently.What’s on Offer:
