Job Description

We are currently recruiting for the position of HGV Technician - Late Shift on behalf of our client, a well-established commercial vehicle workshop located in Kidderminster. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and qualified HGV Technician seeking a stable late shift role with competitive pay, ongoing training, and potential for overtime earnings.

Competitive basic salary of £47,000 with an OTE of approximately £48,500
Overtime paid at time and a half
Monday to Friday working hours, 12:30pm – 10:00pm

Servicing, maintaining, and repairing HGVs to DVSA standards
Diagnosing faults and efficiently completing repairs
Preparing vehicles for MOT testing
Conducting preventative maintenance inspections
Maintaining accurate workshop and vehicle records
Wheel alignment and tyre fitting duties
Assisting with general workshop duties as requiredRequirements of a HGV Technician :

Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance and Repair (NVQ, IMI, or City & Guilds)
Previous experience as an HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to identify worn or faulty components to DVSA standards
