Job Description

A leading employer in the logistics and transport industry is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join their dedicated night shift workshop team in Kidderminster. This is a superb opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician looking to enhance their career within a reputable company that values technical excellence, training, and long-term development.

Five-night working week, Monday to Thursday, 21:30 – 08:00

Branded uniform providedDuties of a HGV Technician:

Conducting major and minor vehicle repairs on HGVs
Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance as a HGV Technician
Diagnosing faults and planning appropriate repairs
Maintaining accurate workshop and repair records
Supporting workshop cleanliness and stock management
Completing warranty paperwork and relevant documentation
Assisting with roadside breakdowns as required
Mentoring and supporting trainees within the workshop environmentRequirements of a HGV Technician:

Level 3 qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair & Maintenance (NVQ, IMI, or City & Guilds)
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience in carrying out HGV repairs and servicing
Knowledge of DVSA standards and compliance
Full UK driving licence for relevant vehicle classes
