HGV Technician Nights 4 on/4 off

They are seeking a HGV Technician to work nights on a 4 on/4 off shift pattern, they are offering a competetive salary of £51,743.74 this includes paid breaks, perks include onsite parking, a subsidised canteen, 24 days holiday per year and a contributionary pension scheme.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out inspection, servicing, and repairs on LGVs, trailers, and ancillary equipment
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds VOSA standards and compliance requirements
- Work closely with VMU Shift Leaders and logistics teams to maximise vehicle availability
- Deliver high-quality work efficiently to achieve shift KPIs
- Follow strict health, safety, and environmental procedures
Knowledge/Expertise:
NVQ level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) and LGV Licence Category C+E required.
Innovation:
- Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs using appropriate tools and resources.
Business Impact:
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and quality workmanship to ensure operational excellence.
Accountabilities:
- Ensure timely completion of all maintenance tasks to keep the fleet operational.
- Provide leadership in maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
