Job Title: Hire Controller Assistant
Location: Poole
Salary: Up to £33,000 Basic
Hours: Monday to Friday – Day Shifts Only
We are currently seeking a Hire Controller Assistant to join a well-established and busy plant hire company based in Poole. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with industry experience to play a key role in supporting operations and delivering excellent customer service.
As a Hire Controller Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and face-to-face. You’ll be handling hire enquiries, managing equipment bookings, and ensuring smooth coordination of deliveries and collections.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in plant hire, forklift, or powered access
A full UK driver’s licence
Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach
A flexible team player, willing to support deliveries and occasionally cover for the Branch Manager when requiredThe ideal Hire Controller Assistant will be organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You’ll also be expected to step in and assist with equipment logistics as needed.
