Housing Caseworker
Exeter
21.97 an hour
Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office
Sellick Partnership are looking for a dedicated Housing Caseworker to join our Housing Needs team. This is a vital role where you'll work directly with individuals and families at risk of homelessness, helping them to retain or secure safe and sustainable housing.
Key Responsibilities of the Housing Caseworker:
Providing high-quality, person-centred housing advice and advocacy.
Preventing homelessness through proactive interventions and support.
Assessing and discharging the council's statutory duties under homelessness legislation.
Liaising with landlords, support agencies, and other stakeholders to secure housing solutions.
Managing a caseload and maintaining accurate records of casework and outcomes.The successful Housing Caseworker will have:
Experience working with vulnerable clients in a public-facing role.
Strong knowledge of homelessness legislation, housing rights, and welfare benefits.
