Your Role:
As an HPC Compute Engineer, you will design, optimize, and maintain HPC infrastructure that powers next-generation software solutions. You’ll collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and high-performing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, deploy, and manage HPC clusters.
* Optimize systems for maximum performance and resource utilization.
* Troubleshoot HPC systems and tools.
* Collaborate with developers for seamless software integration.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging HPC technologies and best practices.
* Conduct routine maintenance, updates, and capacity planning.
Essential Skills:
* HPC cluster management and scheduling tools (Slurm, PBS, Grid Engine).
* Linux system administration and shell scripting.
* Performance tuning for large-scale compute systems.
* Parallel computing concepts (MPI, OpenMP).
* Networking protocols and HPC storage solutions.
Desirable Skills:
* Cloud HPC (AWS ParallelCluster, Azure Batch).
* Programming (Python, C++, or similar).
* Containerization (Docker, Singularity).
