Job Title: Hydraulic Modeller Ref. No.: CJD(phone number removed)C Location: Based near Taunton Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 This is a fantastic opportunity to join my client, a trusted, eco-conscious Multidisciplinary Consultancy known for lending their expertise to diverse projects across the Engineering and Environmental landscapes. They are actively seeking a driven, experienced Hydraulic Modeller who is willing to take on projects across a variety of sectors, based near the historical, cultural town of Taunton. Benefits for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include (but are not limited to): Highly-competitive salary (depending on your skills and experience) Generous annual leave entitlement Hybrid/flexible working opportunities Access to a number of interesting projects across the local region An inclusive team environment that champions collaborative thinking Opportunities to shape the future and development of the company Responsibilities for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include: Delivering a variety of projects at all stages of the design process Producing hydraulic models and surveys Using a variety of software systems to prepare models, reports, and other technical documents Liaising with clients and other stakeholders across the public and private sectors Attending site visits and other meetings as a company representative Adhering to industry standards, regulations, and the appropriate health and safety requirements at all times Required skills and experience for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include: A Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, or a similar, relevant discipline Experience of working in a design capacity, within a UK consultancy (or Local Authority) setting Demonstrable experience of wastewater modelling Proficient in the use of InfoWorks ICM (1D and 2D), and other relevant software packages Desirable skills and experience for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include: Hold a full, valid UK driving licence Actively working to attain Chartered Status Good knowledge of the local area and surrounding region Knowledge of a range of other software systems used within the flood risk, drainage, and hydrology sectors If you are interested in the role of Hydraulic Modeller, please do not hesitate to contact Caroline Davis at Penguin Recruitment.
