Independent Prescriber – Substance Misuse Services Location: Bradford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (37.5 hours)
Pay: £57 per hour (Umbrella)
Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an Independent Prescriber to join a specialist team delivering high-quality drug and alcohol clinical and prescribing services. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in supporting recovery within the local community.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct clinical assessments and prescribe a range of medications (including controlled drugs) in line with national and organisational guidelines.
Prescribe cost-effectively and provide prescribing advice to pharmacists, shared care GPs, and hospital staff.
Undertake service-user-centred assessments, care planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reviews in both practice and outreach settings.
Manage Blood Borne Virus (BBV) care, including risk assessment, counselling, testing, and immunisation.Requirements
Qualified Independent Prescriber with relevant experience in substance misuse.
Strong understanding of clinical guidelines and best prescribing practices.
