Infrastructure Engineer – (Infrastructure, Azure, O365, Windows Server, Intune, WAN/LAN, VMware, Hyper-V, MSP, Managed Services) – Permanent – Manchester
Charles Simon Associates are currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineer on a permanent basis for our fast growing dynamic MSP business based in Central Manchester.
All candidates must have previous experience of working within an MSP environment to be considered for the role.
Location: Manchester
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
Skills/Requirements for the Infrastructure Engineer:
* Previous experience within a similar role is vital, this person needs to hit the ground running
* Extensive O365 experience
* Strong Windows Server support and instillation experience
* Virtualization, either VMware and/or Hyper-V
* Intune and ideally SharePoint Online
* Network troubleshooting around LAN/WAN and Vlan
* Azure experience

Start date is ASAP for the Infrastructure Engineer
The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for:
* Responding to and resolving customer issues through our ticketing system, phone, and email, including complex and escalated tickets from a 3rd Line level
* Deploying and upgrading customer technology stacks both individually and with external support where needed
* Adhering to current SLA’s and KPI’s
* Monitoring and troubleshooting complex alerts to prevent repeated customer downtime
* Handling ongoing migration projects, making sure that communication is clear to customers
* Providing onsite support on an ad hoc basis, all customers are within the North West region.
* Keeping up to date with current industry and technology trends
* Assisting in the tracking and recording of the companies infrastructure assets to ensure that infrastructure and data is kept secure at all times
