This Brigg Scientific client is a successful and growing company based in Greater Manchester. They are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Specialist with a strong background in analytical instrumentation and the drive to generate instrument and associated sales. Working within a small business, flexibility and quick learning will be key to success as you develop sales opportunities by advising customers on analytical instrumentation, maintenance contracts, technical support, delivery, installation and training.
A predominantly sales role, any experience, knowledge or ability in the following would be an advantage:
• Practical chromatography and mass spectroscopy (GC, LC, IC etc, esp GCMS, LCMS)
• Inorganic or organic elemental analysis techniques, combustion, (ICP, AA, XRF)
• Petrochemicals key properties and analytical techniques
Key attributes include:
• Professional communication / persuasion - sales / skills
• Problem-solving
• Independence, self-starter, the client-facing technical specialist
• Flexibility and a desire to learn in a fast-paced environment
