Paid on a daily rateWe are pleased to be working closely with an Ofsted rated 'Good' education provider catering for students with Autism to join them immediately until the end of the academic year.
As the Interim SENCo and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), you will work with the staff across the school to lead on safeguarding, respond to any issues and ensure best practice. Other responsibilities include:
Oversee processes around EHCPs and SEN needs
Lead on Annual Reviews
Coach staff and organise 1:1 sessions
Drive development plans for students
Support transition into school pathwaysTo be considered for the role, you will have worked as a Designated Safeguarding Lead and have experience on leading annual reviews and supporting students with ASD. You do not need to be a qualified SENCo, but QTS is strongly desired.
