Duties & Responsibilities:
Managing a portfolio of vacancies, prioritising workload via sound commercial rationale and business needs, engaging with hiring managers to discuss best approach to attracting talent
Proactively utilise all available social media platforms for headhunting/ proactive search in tandem with advertising internally and externally
Proactive head hunt suitable candidates for priority roles
Ensure all candidate engagement is approached with urgency and consistent demonstration of the Hozelock brand and values
Ensuring that recruitment campaigns are proactively monitored during the advertising period, responding promptly to queries received through the Recruitment inbox and fielding others appropriately.
Communicate with external partners including advertising providers to create the best advertising pools for current and future recruitment
Raising Purchase Order numbers for advertising and ensuring that these are approved in a timely fashion and maintaining a record of advertising spend.
Shortlisting, interview screening and arranging interviews, liaising with line managers and candidates, booking rooms, preparing interview schedules and issuing supporting paperwork and documentation.
Produce offer letters, contracts and new starter paperwork along with managing the pre-employment process for all roles, including reference and right to work checks.
Add new starters to HR & T&A system while issuing badges.
Produce and monitor the induction process for all new starters
Control and monitor the probationary review process for all new employees
Provide weekly updates to HR Manager on recruitment status
Support managers with succession planning
Produce monthly KPI pack
Complete KShuttle (internal KPI system) on a monthly basis
Update policies and procedures related to recruitment as required.
