Junior Service Engineer - Fire & Security (Entry Level)

Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 + Training + Progression

The Opportunity
As a Junior Service Engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers to learn how to service, maintain and support:
Fire Alarm Systems
Intruder Alarms
CCTV Systems
Access Control
You'll gain real field experience while developing the skills needed to become a fully qualified Fire & Security Engineer.

What Background Works Well? (Not essential)
The company is very open to trainable candidates. Skills that transfer brilliantly include:
Electrical Improver or Electrician background
1st fix / 2nd fix installation experience
Cable pulling, routing or terminating
Patch panel/Networking knowledge (CAT5/CAT6)
General data cabling experience
Confident use of hand & power tools
Trunking, tray, conduit or basket installation
ECS/CSCS
IPAF / PASMA
If you've worked with tools or cabling, you're already on the right track.
What You'll Be Doing
Supporting senior engineers on service & maintenance visits
Assisting with system testing, inspections & compliance tasks
Helping with basic fault diagnostics
Preparing cabling and installation work
Completing simple service documentation
Travelling across Glasgow & the Central Belt (vehicle provided after training)
