Job Description

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an inclusive and supportive Primary School in central Bristol that is looking to appoint a dedicated Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This welcoming school is committed to creating a nurturing learning environment where every child feels safe, valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential. The school celebrates individuality and works hard to ensure pupils of all abilities are supported both academically and personally.

The successful Key Stage 1 Teacher will be confident in delivering engaging and creative lessons across the KS1 curriculum. You will be responsible for supporting pupils with a range of learning needs, encouraging positive behaviour, and helping children develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.

This role would be ideal for a passionate and committed teacher who enjoys working in an inclusive primary setting and is looking for a rewarding contract position from September.

The successful Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status
 Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
 Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
 Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
 The ability to adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs
 A positive, caring and flexible approach
 A genuine passion for supporting young learners
