Are you an M3 or higher Key Stage 1 Teacher looking for a teaching opportunity within a supportive and vibrant school community? If so, we'd love to hear from you!

We are working with a primary school in Brent seeking to appoint a Key Stage 1 Teacher from September 2026.

Responsibilities of this Key Stage 1 Teacher role:

Stay up to date with educational research and policies through training, workshops, and reading, while actively implementing all school and local authority initiatives.
Promote a positive school culture by modelling excellent teaching practice, motivating staff, and representing the school in meetings with governors and external networks.
Plan and deliver a high-quality, engaging, and inclusive Key Stage 1 curriculum that supports early learning development and ensures progress across core and foundation subjects.
Monitor pupil progress closely, using assessment data to identify and implement effective interventions that support phonics, literacy, numeracy, and overall attainment.
Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, independence, and positive behaviour for learning.
Collaborate regularly with colleagues and parents to support individual learning needs and communicate pupil progress and curriculum developments.

The Ideal Candidate for this Key Stage 1 Teacher role will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1
Have strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, including phonics and early reading strategies
Be committed to delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that inspire young learners
Show excellent classroom and behaviour management
Be a team player with a reflective, proactive approach
