Job Description

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Bristol that is looking to appoint a dedicated Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who is confident delivering engaging lessons and supporting children during an important stage of their primary education.

The successful Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, challenging and accessible lessons across the KS2 curriculum. You will support pupils of mixed abilities, promote positive behaviour and help children develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.

This role would suit a committed and enthusiastic teacher who has strong curriculum knowledge, excellent classroom management skills and a genuine passion for helping pupils make progress.

The successful Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status
 Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
 Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
 Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
 The ability to adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs
 A positive, caring and flexible approach
 A genuine passion for supporting pupils’ academic and personal development
