Are you a passionate and adaptable KS1 Primary Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities across Rotherham?

Academics are working closely with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools throughout Rotherham who are seeking enthusiastic KS1 teachers to support pupils across Years 1 and 2 on a temporary, ongoing supply basis.

Position: KS1 Primary Teacher
 Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire
 Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
 Pay: £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
 Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you

About the Role

As a KS1 Primary Teacher in Rotherham, you will deliver engaging and creative lessons that support pupils' early development in literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.

This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of primary school settings throughout Rotherham, making it ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to broaden their classroom experience while maintaining flexibility.

You will play an important role in creating a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment where children feel confident and supported in their learning.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging KS1 lessons in line with the national curriculum
 * Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
 * Differentiate learning to support varying abilities and needs
 * Create a positive and well-managed classroom environment
 * Assess and monitor pupil progress effectively
 * Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
 * Follow safeguarding and behaviour policies at all timesCandidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
 * Experience teaching within KS1
 * Strong classroom management and communication skills
 * Creative, flexible, and nurturing approach
