Year 1 (KS1) Teacher - Fixed-Term Maternity Cover

St Albans, Hertfordshire
 Start Date: 29th June 2026
 Full-Time | 12-Month Contract
 MPS (London Fringe): £34,397 - £46,838

A highly regarded primary school in St Albans is looking to secure an outstanding Year 1 (KS1) Teacher for a maternity cover position starting on 29th June 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-resourced school with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality education and creating a supportive environment for both pupils and staff.

Due to the urgent nature of this vacancy, the school is able to offer immediate paid trial days to suitable teachers who hold a current Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service. Successful candidates could be in school and meeting the team within days of applying.

The Role

You will take responsibility for a Year 1 class, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that help pupils build confidence, develop key skills, and achieve their full potential.
