The Role
The successful candidate will:
Take responsibility for a KS2 class from September 2026
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Support pupils of all abilities, including those with additional needs
Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress effectively
Work collaboratively with colleagues across Key Stage 2
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
Lead and develop a curriculum subject across the school
Contribute to school improvement and curriculum developmentThe specific year group and subject leadership responsibility will be discussed during the recruitment process and matched to the successful candidate's experience and interests where possible.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a teacher who:
Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Demonstrates strong classroom practice and subject knowledge
Has high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Is committed to delivering an engaging and ambitious curriculum
Has excellent communication and organisational skills
Works collaboratively and contributes positively to school life
