About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Year 5 Teacher to join our supply pool and provide high-quality teaching within a welcoming primary school in East Grinstead. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working with upper Key Stage 2 and is looking for flexibility while still making a meaningful impact in the classroom.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons to a Year 5 class, following school plans, policies, and curriculum expectations.
Maintain a positive, supportive, and productive classroom environment where pupils feel motivated and confident.
Adapt quickly to the routines and expectations of the school, demonstrating flexibility, professionalism, and initiative.
Work collaboratively with school staff where needed to support pupils' learning, progress, and well-being.
About You
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Has proven experience teaching in KS2, ideally with Year 5.
Confident in managing behaviour and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge pupils.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards in every placement.
Adaptable and comfortable working in a variety of school environments.
